Pacer Poles: Excellent Customer Service

I thought I’d give another mention to Pacer Pole again and their excellent service. I wanted to replace the bottom sections of two pairs of poles and was able to order the spares easily on the website. I then received a very thorough email telling me that the poles were despatched and giving me an indication as to when they would arrive; the message also included full instructions for using the poles as these work differently to normal designs

The poles arrived promptly as promised. If only all spares and customer enquiries were as easy as this and were expedited so quickly.

  1. We are lucky to have ‘Pacers’ in the UK. I have a set of carbons and alloys and to use they are simply the best. I snap (on the carbons) a section a year (that’s my fault not the pole) and getting the spare parts is cheap, quick and easy. I’ve done that with foreign brands such as Black Diamond and it was neither quick and easy (nor cheap as I remember)/

    Fact is Pacers are a small scale cottage industry producing the type of innovative product that we can produce in the UK. Customer service is personal as you are dealing with Heather. She is a passionate hiker too!

  2. Agree completely, I snapped a CF one, but could not remove it from the middle section, so contacted PP (replied almost immediately on a Sunday), told me to send it in, they removed the broken bit, sent a new lower section, no charge for the removal and very reasonable postage from the UK.
