Have bought it and am reading it. It is a great book, very funny and very informative.
It is not a book about navigation rather an account of one man’s obsessions with maps since he was young. Great history of the Ordnance Survey and lots of useless information!
Review to follow when finished, but on what I have seen so far it is fully recommended. It is the kind of book that will keep Sloman entertained through those long winter nights!
