The Truth is Out There: The Phantom Lives …

RAB TGO Challenge

Just to cheer Shirl up.

It has been suggested in these pages that the phantom backpacker was nothing else other than a stash of grain for grouse. Such cynics.

I notice though that the photo of the Phantom on my Flickr site has been looked at more than twice as often as any other photo from this year’s Challenge β€” and that’s including the snaps of Colin’s tarps.

Shirl, I reckon there are other believers out there.

Here, once again, is the phantom, HUMP3 says that ghouls don’t do lunch. Perhaps, he was just tightening the laces on his trail shoes …

“…nothing else other than a stash of grain for grouse.”

I dunno… some people! I wouldn’t like to be Alan crossing the Monadliaths in the dark next time he’s over there, though. If the Phantom Backpacker has read this thread (and that seems likely) then old Alan could be in for a very nasty surprise… *g*

Am i missing something here? :)
It’s obviously just a shooting butt, with grit on top!
I assume this is a private joke! :)

Oh Yea! Oh Yea! The End Times and The
Rapture (aka TGO 31) are upon us! The Great Sow is gathering up her weans and a grievious murrain will be visited amongst the unbelievers. Especially upon those who venture upon the Modadliath in plimsolls. May their feet be sucked from underneath them and their shameless tarps be cast even unto the very Howling. Oh Yea …

I agree. That’s definitely all it was.

*floats back to Monadliaths*

LOL! You’d better believe it!
