Inov 8 Flyrocs

Looking at shoes this morning I thought I might try a pair of Flyrocs on this year’s Challenge. Is anyone using them?

I’ve got a pair and the soles are good for mud and grass, but anything solid I’ve found is uncomfortable for me. I prefer the Terrocs.

  2. Roger says:

I have tried them and they were okay, but would prefer Terrocs, or the 370 or 390′s

  3. Mike fae Dundee says:

All depends on your foot shape Andy. I’ve a broad forefoot, and get on well with the Roclite 295′s. I believe they are made on the same last as the Terrocs.

  4. Ben says:

I have been running in flyrocs for a few years now. They are very comfortable for off road running and the odd stretch of tarmac. The toe bumper is not a tough as the terrocs which lots of people seem to use for walking. The soles on mine are coming away from the upper where the toes bend, but dont let that put you off as they are at least 3 years old.

  5. Martin Rye says:

Happy with my 310 pair. Grip, comfort. Done well on Dartmoor. Lakes next hopefully for them. Down to your feet shape Andy. If they fit I think they would be great on the Challenge. If I was still on it I would be using them. Hope that helps and I thought Colin Ibbotson used them last year on it?

  6. Baz says:

I’ve tried manfully with Terrocs but because of my broad feet I seem to have to wear a size up, which gives me a bit too much room in the toe area and thus the shoe slips a bit. Any suggestions? I was thinking something like Salomon Elios, as Salomons have previously fitted me nicely. Thoughts?

  7. James says:

As others have said here, you need to try a pair for size. We find half our customers love them, the other half send them straight back, so it’s definately a marmite kind of deal with these.
