Speaking of the great man himself, here’s a photo that all the world wants to see. Alan Sloman taking his lunch break – at the Tuck Café in Edzell. This is a lovely place to have lunch and – as Al would say himself – you can see that ‘all’s well with the world”.
When I left him at Montrose he was having difficulty with O2s email service that was stopping him emailing his posts to blogger. But be he’s still writing them and I guess there will suddenly be a rush of posts when re-connection is made.
Remember, Alan’s walk is for charity and there is still time for you to make a donation; after all he’s provided us with a lot of entertainment over the last few months.

Finally, I’ve talked to Alan about getting this photo printed up nicely and getting him to sign a limited edition of this lunchtime memento, with all proceeds of the limited edition going to Sue Ryder care – Alan’s charity.
