I wish I could say that I’d been very busy but I’m finding it difficult to nip off to the hills at the moment. Every time I fix on a window of opportunity something crops up to stop me. Nevertheless, there is still a lot to write about. Don’t worry ECCO – most of us here are desktop backpackers, or at least are more desktop bound than we would like.
Sine yesterday I’ve realised that my previous provider’s site must have been dodgy for months. This new installation of WordPress works like a dream on this new platform – which is Streamline.net if you’re interested. Suddenly I’m realising that there are features in the latest WordPress release that now actually work!
One of these functions is called link to. Basically, every time Techncrati picks up a post that points to this site WordPress lets me know of the link – quite useful that.
The first link to appear this way is from AktoMan, a backpacker from Scotland who – guess what – loves his Akto tent. I think it’s fair to say that AktoMan is a bit of a gear freak; those of you that love that kind of thing should pay a visit fast!
