Podcast: The Art of Political Blogging
By Andy | November 7, 2007
It’s difficult to ignore bloggers these days. Politics and blogs seem to be and for each other; us politicos love them. In this podcast Political Futures talks to blogger - and Sandwell Councillor - Bob Piper about blogging on the left, how his blog helps his role as a councillor, and about how the use of IT can be an important local campaign tool.
Bob Piper has recently been voted one of the UK’s most influential bloggers.

Good interview, I was looking forward to hearing Bob at the e-Democracy conference last week, but he was too ill to attend.
Bob’s approach to blogging is a bit different to mine, but he is a great read and has what any of us that want to be bloggers should try to find, authenticity.

I agree about Bob’s blog. It’s important to have some style which relates to your own views. There’s too much that’s bland on the left. It’s almost as if they’re worried that somebody in HQ might be reading! Of course, Bob wouldn’t care about any of that.
