Active citizenship is a concept that we’re hearing more and more about these days. But developing active citizens poses real challenges to both political institutions and public agencies - we won’t encourage people to play a more active role in their community unless we engage them far more effectively and imaginatively.
For this podcast Political Furures visited Involve, a relatively young Think Tank that has been established to promote new practice in public enagement, to talk to Stella Creasy and Edward Andersson about the principles on which we should be building these new strategies.
